“Water of Life” distilled in Cape Town
Named after the powerful south-easterly wind that blows during the summer months in Cape Town which cools the city and clears the air of smog (known as the Cape Doctor to some) is SOUTHEASTER AKVAVIT.
There are two options to enjoy, namely TAFFEL AKVAVIT (Table Akvavit) which is a clear spirit and a common style in Scandinavia, and the CASK AKVAVIT which follows the same recipe as Taffel but has been briefly aged in American oak to give it a smoother finish and golden hue.
